It is important for people to have goals and aspirations; visions that guide personal growth and creative purpose. My Greatest Desire is one of mine. What started as me doodling and making up random original characters after graduating high school turned into something much more: an ongoing narrative project that reimagines personal experience through storytelling, with the long-term goal of publishing it as a graphic novel.
Though the full story is still unfolding, I’ve outlined its beginning and end. I approached the project as if adapting it into a film. This allowed me to explore its visual and narrative potential through character designs, concept art, storyboards, a screenplay, and promotional posters. Most of the illustrations were created specifically for this project, while others date back to 2021, when the earliest sketches emerged. Working on this story has helped me feel more connected to the characters and the world they live in. What began as a small idea has grown into something really important to me. This project shows how stories can grow over time and how personal creativity can turn into something that others might connect with too.
