For some, a shower is just part of a routine. For others, it is a quiet space to reflect, to cry, or to let thoughts wander. What if those thoughts could take shape? What if your mind could choreograph the water? This interactive installation brings my own “shower thoughts” to life as an immersive experience. I often connect certain songs to different stages of past relationships. In this piece, those moments are translated into a simulated shower where sound and gesture shape the way of the water. Each song corresponds to a stage of my past relationships: The stages of falling in love, being in love, insecurities and doubts, and the experience of loss. Your hand gestures become a way of engaging with the emotional texture of those memories. I invite you to step into my inner world and feel what I felt, through music, motion, and water.
