The UCLA Design Media Art Lecture Series welcomes Patrik Svensson this Thursday 11/6 6pm in the EDA to give his talk "Aspirational Humanities: For Makers and Thinkers," will be followed by a response by DMA’s Peter Lunenfeld and a Q&A with the audience. This lecture is free and open to the public!

Patrik Svensson is an independent scholar/ curator/ entrepreneur based in Sweden. Humane Infrastructures builds on collaborations he had with colleagues at UCLA.

This year, he co-organized “Critical-Connective Tissue: Making Worlds with the Humanities”. He has been a professor at Umeå University and the director of their HUMla.
